Migrant Workers

Screens carried by life-size replica of migrant workers.

This video-driven experience — compellingly presented via on screens with different aspect ratios — presents first-person testimonials about the migrant labor experience in Canada.

Through software, Upswell engineered a complex video sequence to seamlessly loop between 4 short films in both English and French, ambient video portraits, and dynamic title sequences. The four films are sequenced so that they play in succession. When one film is active, the three others are in ambient mode.

Presenting the lived reality of migrant workers.
